In april, we spent a one-week holiday at Villa Forza in Saint Gely, Gard in the south of France . The pictures on the website didn't lie; the villa was gorgeous, with the back garden connecting directly to the vinyards. Of course, we took advantage of the villa's stone BBQ and swimming-pool! The whole week the weather gods were very generous. The idyllic peace was only now and then disturbed by the neighbours' building work.
Also the environment was picture perfect! The close-by village of Goudargues is a very beautiful, having a very good boulangerie and boucherie. Also the neighbouring villages Saint-Michel-d'Euzet and La Roque-sur-Ceze are well worth a visit, as well as the villages at the D6086, heading to Remoulins, and of course the Pont du Gard.
